Conference Overview

IEEE IECON is the flagship annual conference of the IEEE Industrial Electronics Society (IES), dedicated to advancing and sharing cutting-edge research, innovative ideas, and emerging developments across a wide spectrum of industrial electronics and related fields.

The conference embraces diverse topics, including (but not limited to):  Power Systems, Power Electronics,  Renewable Energy, Smart Cities, Smart Grids, Digital Twins, Robotics and Mechatronics, Cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence for Industrial Processes, and Industry 5.0.

IECON 2026, the 52nd edition of this prestigious series, will be held in Doha, Qatar, from 18 to 21 October 2026.

The technical program will feature workshops, tutorials, keynote lectures, panel discussions, and presentations of original research and industrial case studies. In addition, participants will have the opportunity to engage in vibrant discussions, networking sessions, and social activities that foster collaboration and knowledge exchange across academia, industry, and government.
